Media level 3 Blog

In our second project we had to research about what short film is about and why it is so popular in the media industry. We were then placed into groups and had to choose a Genre of our choosing and then began to make a questionnaire of our chosen Genre which was Horror, this chosen genre could of been mixed with any other Genre weather it was animation or crime. What we then had to do was decide amongst our group which roles would be handed to one another such as script, camera man and actor.

 

We then began to record our chosen scene and edit using the skills we had learned from the first project, but only that we had to be precise with the footage and the audio, that was to be used in the film. Some scene's we had to re-record throughout the project because of either temporal feedback or weather we couldn't get the view of the character, but the focus was on the film itself and learning to work together as a team.

Once we had recorded the scenes that we needed, the footage was to be edited individually, this was a test for me to see how my media skills on both filming and editing skills can be used into making a short film.
